Delete your Hushweek account
For the Hushweek app on iPhone and Android
An account in Hushweek is optional. If you created one, you can delete it, and the cloud backup kept with it, at any time. If you never created one, there is nothing of yours for us to delete: your log is only on your phone.
In the app (fastest)
- Open Hushweek and go to the You tab.
- Tap Account, then Delete account.
- Confirm. If you signed in with Apple, Apple asks you to confirm once more, so the app’s access to your Apple Account can be revoked.
Your account and its cloud backup are deleted straight away.
By email
- Email support@hushweek.com from the address you signed in with, with the subject “Delete my account”.
- If you chose Hide My Email with Sign in with Apple, include that relay address (it ends in privaterelay.appleid.com) so we can find your account.
- We delete the account within 30 days, usually much sooner, and confirm by email.
What’s deleted
- Your account: your email address, a name if Apple or Google shared one, your account ID and your sign-in records.
- Your cloud backup, with everything it held from your log: medicines, doses and injection sites, weight and measurements, side effects, check-ins, health markers, food, water, pens and packs, appointments, notes and settings.
- The purchase record linked to your account ID at RevenueCat, our purchases provider.
- If you used Sign in with Apple, the app’s access to your Apple Account is revoked.
What’s kept
- The log on your phone. Deleting your account doesn’t touch it, so you can keep using Hushweek without an account. To erase it as well, use Start over in You › Your data, or delete the app. Progress photos were only ever on your phone.
- Your Pro purchase. It belongs to your Apple or Google account, not your Hushweek account, and you can restore it any time with Restore purchases. Deleting your account doesn’t cancel a subscription: cancel it in your App Store or Google Play subscriptions.
- Purchase records that Apple and Google keep under their own policies, and, where tax or accounting law requires it, a record of the transaction itself. It never holds your email address or anything you logged.
- Copies in our providers’ encrypted backups, which are overwritten within 30 days.
- Emails you sent us, kept only as long as needed to handle your request.
